... after I sat down and turned on the TV, I picked up my journal and began to
write.

An Excerpt:

"The announcer had no idea what was happening as it fell. He just kept
talking. I was yelling at the TV - `The building just fell! It collapsed!` He
couldn`t see it. He kept asking `what happened?` he didn`t get it. The man on
the TV began telling him what happened. He still didn`t get. Oh God,

yeah... thats what i did too.. i wrote.. and thanked my parents for begging not to move to nyc yet.. i ended up going to arizona that very week, instead of nyc... im in nyc now... but if it weren`t for my parents begging me not to move here who knows what could have happened.... they still wished i didn`t live here.. but i love it here!

sad, sad, sad. :-(

Thanks.

very nice!

I like your hand writing Jewels.

What great idea and image, perfectly rendered--one for the ages.

your stories always intensify your pictures so much and in this it is only fitting that the picture is the writing of the story. Very powerful - I remember watching the same newscast with the reporter not knowing what we the audience saw.

...shivers of remembrance....WONDERFUL!

Beautiful and sad. I was on my way to work that day and was on the subway at 126 st when tower 1 collapsed. I went back home and lokithorn and I walked all the way from 136st to 8st and 6ave. It was the most surreal experience of my life.
